As a Armed Security Guard in Lancaster, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government transportation environment, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service and communication to passengers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at rail facilities and transit locations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods or special events, and provide directions or information as appropriate.
Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors, transit personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as directed.
