About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking Armed Security Guards for full-time and part-time roles in Nashville, TN. The Security Officer position involves maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Officers may also provide customer service and information. PPS operates in 48 states and serves major companies, playing an essential role for clients and society. Security Officers will serve and safeguard clients in various industries including convenience stores, travel centers, warehouses, and truck yards.

Requirements

Must be currently licensed as an Armed Security Guard with card in hand (State of Tennessee).
Possess a personal firearm (9mm, .40cal, .45cal) that is semi-auto, with a vest and 2 magazines.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to navigate phone apps and write legible reports.
At least 1 year of previous Armed Security experience.
Must be 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Ability to pass a background investigation.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
E-Verification Approval.
Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of Tennessee.
Ability to commute/relocate to Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities
