About The Position
Law Security & Investigations, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Guards to patrol and secure assigned premises and identify risks to staff and patrons. The role is predominantly a static post focused on access control and site security in San Fernando, California. The detail is scheduled from November 23, 2026, through January 5, 2027, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or until the client closes. The posting describes the position as seasonal part-time to full-time and says an end date for the contracts has not been set; hired guards will be informed when that information becomes available. The guard will help protect the site, materials, staff, patrons, individuals, and property; monitor the premises; enforce rules; respond to alarms and emergencies; follow standard operating procedures; and document incidents. Required credentials include a BSIS Guard Card and an Exposed Firearms Permit for armed positions, along with a valid driver's license and CPR certification. Requirements
- BSIS Guard Card (required).
- BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (required for armed positions).
- Valid driver's license (required).

Nice To Haves
- At least one year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred; the posting also lists one year of armed security experience as preferred.

Responsibilities
- Keep the site, materials, staff, and patrons safe.
- Monitor premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and violations of rules.
- Examine doors, windows, and gates to confirm proper function and security.
- Enforce premise rules and regulations.
- Report facility issues, such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes, through the chain of command.
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
- Multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks in an organized, efficient, and effective manner.
- Safeguard highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Protect individuals and property from security and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, fire calls, and panic calls, securing the safety of people and physical property.
- Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Write reports.
- Investigate non-routine incidents and prepare written documentation, including incident reports, pictures, and witness statements.
