The Security Officer position is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment by actively safeguarding premises, including patrolling various locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, Security Officers provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. Requirements

Must have a current Level 3 Security Guard Card in the State of New Mexico.
Must have your own firearm to carry on the job (e.g., 9mm or .45 cal, .40 cal; must be semi-auto).
Must have experience as an Armed Security Officer.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of New Mexico.
Ability to pass drug screen.
Ability to pass background check.
E-Verification Approval.
Completion of on-boarding process.
Approval and interview with assigned site manager.
Must have previous Armed Guard experience to be considered.
Armed Level 3 Security License from the state of New Mexico required.

Responsibilities

Help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Be attentive and notice things that others don't, being vigilant to be aware of potential risks or incidents.
Safeguard premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
