About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Branch Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies, and follow all use of force and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobby approaches, ATM areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, and monitor for conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers and/or as directed by site procedures.
