The Armored Truck Driver/Messenger role is a full-time position for individuals over 21 who thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek new challenges. This role is crucial for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables, requiring the ability to perform heavy lifting. Driver/Messengers are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, interact effectively with customers, and ensure the highest standards of safety and security for all parties involved. All positions are armed, necessitating the acquisition and maintenance of relevant licenses and permits.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid and clean driver’s license
• Able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses on a current basis as required by state regulations
• Strong customer service skills
• Can communicate effectively in person and by radio
• Willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions
• Heavy lifting required (50lbs+)

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables
• Act in a professional manner and interact with customers to develop rapport
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer
• Follow the highest levels of driver safety in all weather conditions
• Be vigilant in all areas for customers, colleagues, and the community
• Have and maintain the necessary licenses for your area to work as an armored truck driver/messenger
