About The Position
Extrity Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and service-oriented Armed School Security Professional to join its team in Franklin, Tennessee. This position is ideal for experienced armed security professionals who are committed to maintaining a safe educational environment while utilizing professionalism, emotional intelligence, and de-escalation techniques. As an Armed School Security Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You will serve as both a security professional and a visible ambassador of safety, professionalism, and community trust.
Requirements
- Active Tennessee Armed Security License
- Dallas Law Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Prior Armed Security Experience
- Experience handling security incidents and emergency response situations
- Experience conducting patrols and monitoring access points
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Sound judgment in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of school grounds and facilities
- Monitor building access points and visitor entry
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Maintain situational awareness throughout assigned areas
- Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation
- Assist with emergency response procedures
- Utilize conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Interact professionally with students, staff, visitors, and vendors
- Support school safety initiatives
- Monitor suspicious behavior and security concerns
- Coordinate with school administration when necessary
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence at all times
