As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to incidents while demonstrating integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation. This armed post requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and administrators by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations on school district property in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or hazards, and assist with maintaining an orderly learning environment.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
