About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring one certified ACT 235 Armed Security Officer for a full-time school security position in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The role offers a stable Monday–Friday daytime schedule from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM, with no nights, weekends, or overnight shifts. The position is an immediate opening, with work starting once clearances are confirmed. Compensation is $23.00 per hour. The officer will provide an armed security presence on school grounds, monitor access areas, respond to safety issues, maintain logs and reports, and coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement.

Requirements

• ACT 235 certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
• Act 67 certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an armed security presence on school grounds.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, and access points.
• Respond to incidents and safety concerns.
• Complete reports and daily activity logs.
• Coordinate with administration and local law enforcement.
