About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is hiring one Certified ACT 235 Armed Security Officer for a full-time school security position in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. This is an immediate opening, with a start after required clearances are confirmed. The position offers a stable weekday schedule in a professional school environment, with direct management support. Compensation is $23.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM, with no nights, weekends, or overnight shifts.
Requirements
- ACT 235 certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
- Act 67 certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an armed security presence on school grounds.
- Monitor entrances, hallways, and access points.
- Respond to incidents and safety concerns.
- Complete reports and daily activity logs.
- Coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement.
