About The Position

We are seeking off-duty and retired armed law enforcement officers to join our team. This role involves securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. You will be responsible for completing reports, preventing losses and damage, and enforcing security policies and procedures at various events. The positions are primarily outdoors and may involve inclement weather conditions. This role requires the ability to maintain composure, have reliable communication and transportation, and potentially stand or walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s)
• Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s)
• Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
• Must have reliable transportation
• Retired certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer for over (1) year
• Required: Permanent Employee Registration Card (PER Card)
• Required: 20hr Security Training Certificate
• Required: 20hr Armed Training Certificate or IROCC
• Required: FOID Card
• Valid Illinois Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
