About The Position

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. This role involves 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM, 6 PM - 6 AM) and operates seven days a week.

Requirements

• Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s)
• Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s)
• Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, elevator emergency, and hazardous materials.
