About The Position

Brink's is seeking Armed Guards to provide the highest level of customer service to clients from coast-to-coast. This role is for individuals looking to grow and develop security, customer service, and teamwork skills. Guards, Drivers, and Messengers are the face of the business, working as part of a team and developing relationships with customers daily. The company offers flexible part-time schedules. As a member of the operations team, you will perform safe and efficient deliveries following assigned routes, operate an armored vehicle safely, and ensure a secure environment for yourself, clients, and colleagues. Responsibilities also include loading, unloading, and performing repairs to ATMs for financial institution clients and completing daily route records. Requirements

  • Reliable, thorough and committed to performing your job with safety in mind
  • A customer service mindset and enjoy developing a rapport with people
  • Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal on-site supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment where timelines play an important role in success
  • Required to carry a firearm in the performance of their duties
  • A PAL for restricted and non-restricted firearms is required
  • A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
  • In British Columbia, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI – a provincial security guard licence
  • Capable of pushing, pulling and lifting loads of up to 35lbs
  • Available for various shifts at least two days per week – days, evenings, nights and weekends are available
  • Alberta: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • British Columbia: Class 5 or above Driver's Licence
  • Manitoba: Class 5F or above Driver's Licence
  • New Brunswick: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Nova Scotia: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Newfoundland and Labrador: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Northwest Territories: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Ontario: G Driver's Licence
  • Prince Edward Island: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Quebec: Class 3 or above Driver's Licence
  • Saskatchewan: Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Yukon: Class 5 Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

  • Perform safe and efficient deliveries to clients by following your assigned routes
  • Operate an armoured vehicle in a safe manner
  • Use your safety and security orientation to ensure a safe environment for yourself, clients and colleagues
  • Load, unload and perform repairs to ATM’s for our Financial Institution clients
  • Complete daily route records
