This role involves conducting armed foot patrols, responding to emergency incidents, composing reports, and deterring criminal activity. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality
• Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent
• Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Have a valid security and concealed weapon license
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and are required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client
• Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents
