About The Position

This warehouse-style position works with a team to maintain inventory in Loomis cash vaults for its customers. The role involves counting, sorting, handling, and storing coin, including handling coin bags weighing 50 pounds and managing pallets of boxed coin. The position requires meeting applicable driving, medical, physical, and firearms or security-licensing qualifications. The work takes place in a large vault area with little or no exposure to outside light. The full-time schedule may average 40 to 50 hours per week, with at least five workdays in a six-day period. Qualification for the Coin Processor position includes successfully completing a Human Performance Evaluation covering lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, repetitive gripping, and climbing.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
At least a three-year driving record.
Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate through a U.S. Department of Transportation-approved medical examiner.
Ability to repetitively lift at least 50 pounds without assistance, from floor level to a height of 3–4 feet.
Ability to move bulk coin with hand carts or manual pallet jacks.
A valid firearms permit and/or the ability to pass applicable firearms and state-regulated security guard card or license requirements in the state of application.
Successful completion of the required Human Performance Evaluation, including the specified lifting, carrying, push-pull, hand-grip, and step-climbing tests.
