About The Position

Securitas is seeking two highly qualified ARMED Security Officers for Full-Time positions at our courthouse sites in Windham and/or Newfane, VT. The ideal candidate will have a background in the military, law enforcement, or security. This role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Security Officers will also provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.

Requirements

21 years of age minimum
Possess an active Vermont Armed Security Guard license or have the ability to apply for one after being hired
Valid Driver's License
Must be a citizen of the United States
High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Ability to pass an onboarding check and drug screen
Ability to pass PSR test (personality assessment)
Ability to pass pistol qualification
Competency with a handgun, shotgun, baton, handcuffs and use of force is necessary
Comfortable working in a Courthouse setting
High level of professionalism
Walking/standing for long periods of time
Flexible work availability
