About The Position

Securitas USA is seeking an Armed Account Manager based out of Newport News, Virginia (VA). This role involves overseeing end-to-end security operations for assigned client accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, proactive issue resolution, and continuous improvement. The Account Manager will drive account growth through service enhancements and new business development while maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities include developing post orders, workforce planning, scheduling, team supervision, and delivering training to ensure compliance and performance excellence. This is an opportunity to spearhead change and shape the direction of security services and solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Associate Degree.
  • 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Candidate must possess all license, certifications, and permits required to perform armed security duties in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Organized, self-disciplined, technologically savvy, compliant, and communicates timely and effectively at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Responsibilities

  • Drives account growth through service enhancements and new business development while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Develops post orders, workforce planning, scheduling, and team supervision.
  • Delivers training to ensure compliance and performance excellence.
  • Serves as the key point of client contact to ensure high quality customer service.
  • Assists with onboarding and directly develops high caliber staff.
  • Willing to fill in at lower levels when necessary while managing high-level responsibilities.
  • Successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
