Ariba Product Team IT Business Analyst, Staff
About The Position
A proactive, high‑performing Ariba, Product Sourcing and Quotation Management IT Business Analyst (ITBA) is needed to drive continuous improvement, and act as the go‑to resource for SAP data analysis and process ownership for these areas. The ideal candidate thrives on problem solving, can teach and lead peers, and consistently delivers quality results. In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Operations’ EBDT (Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation) organization. #EBDT
Requirements
- 5-10 years of Lockheed Martin (LM) Ariba functionality.
- 5–10 years SAP experience (preferably S/4) with deep knowledge of SAP Ariba, Fiori, S/4 Configuration (emphasis on Business Partner)
- Hands‑on experience with Exostar and Supplier onboarding
- Participation in at least one SAP implementation
- Experience validating or converting data during SAP migrations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with customers to write functional specifications.
- Fundamental Excel experience which includes the use of formulas, pivot tables and power queries
- Familiarity with: Focus Build, Service Central, JIRA.
- Strong understanding of SAP applications: Ariba, Product Sourcing and Quotation Management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Ariba, Product Sourcing and Quotation Management processes to proactively identify and reduce risk.
- Triage and/or work O&M Incidents and requests
- Create test data for functional enhancements, workflows, interfaces, and forms.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret SAP table data to diagnose issues and assess impact.
- Identify root causes of recurring problems; design and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for the Ariba product team and liaise with other product teams.
- Manage multiple build projects from requirements gathering through implementation, including functional spec writing, developer collaboration, and testing.
- Learn and utilize project‑management tools (e.g., JIRA, Focus Build, Service Central).
