About The Position

Precision IO Group, formed by the merger of Quantum Surgical and NeuWave Medical, is a leader in interventional oncology, focusing on minimally invasive cancer treatments. The group integrates robotics, AI, and remote capabilities to advance tumor ablation and interventional oncology. The Area Vice President (AVP) will lead the commercial organization in their designated area to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer success goals. This role involves managing enterprise-level relationships, developing regional strategies, and ensuring effective field execution. The AVP will be responsible for Capital Equipment Expansion, pipeline development, stakeholder alignment, and contracting. They will also lead new product launches, coordinate cross-functional efforts for disciplined launch planning, training, and adoption. Prioritizing opportunities and managing resources for maximum growth will be key. The AVP will directly lead Strategic Accounts and Account Management teams, ensuring customer plans are developed, executed, and measured. Additionally, they will lead and develop the Clinical Specialists team to ensure consistent clinical support, on-site execution, and customer education aligned with regional objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in successful clinical sales, marketing, professional education, or commercial learning and development.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of people management experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experienced with CRM and sales force effectiveness tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time is required.

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Experience across at least two functional areas (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Clinical/Professional Education, Sales Enablement) is preferred.
  • Large team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Ideal candidate location- CA or AZ. May consider other locations within the region near an airport.

Responsibilities

  • Set regional staffing levels and build a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
  • Coach direct reports to engage effectively with executive, economic, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Ensure rigorous operating cadence, forecasting, and performance management across Strategic Accounts, Account Management, and Clinical Specialists.
  • Lead the development and execution of account plans that drive growth, retention, and expansion.
  • Establish standard work for opportunity management (from initial qualification through implementation).
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and develop bench strength through coaching, succession planning, and targeted skill development.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated support for customers and seamless execution.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer priorities, and competitive activity, translating insights into regional strategy and clear field direction.
  • Ensure the right people, processes, and tools are in place to meet customer needs and to scale capital programs and innovation adoption across the region.
  • Set the standard for ethical, compliant, and safe business practices that foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Operate in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and reinforce high expectations for professionalism in every customer and internal interaction.
