The Area Vice President AVP is responsible for directing the Skilled Home Health operations of an assigned area, usually within a state. This position is responsible for ensuring quality care and services are being delivered in the most effective way. The AVP is responsible for ensuring that their area adheres to all State, Federal, contract/payer and Elara Caring regulatory requirements necessary to maintain operations, which may include any applicable accreditation bodies or governing entities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related field preferred
  • 8 years of successful leadership in the home care industry within the last ten years
  • Advanced business development, policy interpretation, and clinical skills
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance, and reliable transportation to perform job tasks
  • Travel required between branches and among states with moderate frequency

Responsibilities

  • Directing the Skilled Home Health operations of an assigned area, usually within a state.
  • Ensuring quality care and services are being delivered in the most effective way.
  • Ensuring that their area adheres to all State, Federal, contract/payer and Elara Caring regulatory requirements necessary to maintain operations, which may include any applicable accreditation bodies or governing entities.
  • Guiding your team to reach their full potential.
