Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education with at least five to ten (5-10) years of experience or on the job training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Basic knowledge of fluid flow, pressure, hydrostatic head, pump characteristics and pipeline operations.
Two (2) years in a supervisory position.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to travel and work in remote areas on a day-to-day basis; may be on call.
English language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

Interviewing, hiring, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Directing work of third-party contractors.
Ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Assuring all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules and policies.
Overseeing all operational, construction, safety, and personnel work received from the operations director and field personnel, and assigning it to field supervisors for completion.
Directing the daily activities of an average of ten (10) employees.
