The Purpose of the Role is to achieve sales of the company's Flooring products through focus on specification via strong customer relationships. To deliver sales and profitability for a specific geographical area in line with the business plan.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years commercial experience in a sales or technical role, ideally within the construction sector.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ability to plan the specification sales process and appreciate all technical and commercial angles.
Effective communicator, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Ability to maximise sales opportunities within existing customer base as well as identifying new customers.
Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently and produce and deliver reports effectively with strong IT and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Achieve pre-agreed sales targets and KPI’s by gaining specifications and building strong relationships with Flooring contractor customers
Identify potential new specialist contractor customers
Carry out technical CPD/seminars to actively promote Sika's range of solutions
Promote new product introductions in line with the presented long term business plan and strategy
Promote and identify opportunities for TM Flooring as well as other target markets
Be up to date of all competitor activity within the specified area
