About The Position

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time Area Service Representative (ASR) to deliver products and service displays and equipment for established retail accounts. The ASR follows an assigned route across multiple retail locations, ensuring rental displays are clean, stocked, and well maintained. Service stops include inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines. The role may also implement improved processes and procedures as needed, while providing friendly, superior customer service consistent with Rug Doctor’s mission and standards. The work suits a responsible self-starter who can work independently, manage productivity, and perform in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 38–40 hours per week, with Saturday work as needed. Candidates must consent to a criminal background inquiry, non-DOT physical, and drug screen and pass the drug screen to be considered for employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting or raising up to 50 pounds from the ground to higher levels, and manually pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in different climates, including hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to drive a vehicle for consecutive hours in a day.
• Desire to learn and practice company standards.
• Friendly, exceptional communication skills, and an outgoing personality.
• Customer-service orientation.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for full-time work, 38–40 hours Monday through Friday, and Saturday as needed.
• Consent to a criminal background inquiry and non-DOT physical, and ability to complete and pass a drug screen.
