About The Position

Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and flexibility to a dynamic hospitality environment. Develop, manage, and grow business within assigned market segments to meet or exceed revenue goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, associations, sports teams, tour operators, government agencies, and group business. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. Collaborate with hotel leadership to develop sales strategies that increase occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue. Create and promote seasonal packages, special promotions, and targeted marketing campaigns to drive business during need periods. Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and community organizations to strengthen brand awareness and generate new leads. Ensure all daily sales operations are completed efficiently while maintaining compliance with hotel, brand, and company policies and procedures. Maintain current knowledge of market trends, competitive activity, and local economic conditions to identify opportunities for growth. Foster strong communication and collaboration with General Managers, department leaders, and hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Participate in sales meetings, forecasting, and strategic planning. Maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to develop new business, manage key accounts, and consistently achieve sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality sales practices.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, CRM platforms, and lead generation strategies.
  • Ability to interpret operational documents, policies, procedures, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the local market and business community is highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, events, and community resources that support hotel sales efforts.
