Avfuel is seeking an outside sales producer in Texas for its aviation supply and services company. With a stable history of 50 years, Avfuel serves the global aviation marketplace, offering services from aviation fuel and equipment to marketing and sales consultation. Avfuel is a leader in reducing carbon emissions and invests in ESG initiatives. The company has a 28% market share in the branded space and is the leading aviation fuel supply company internationally. Customers include fixed-base operators, airports, corporate flight departments, helicopter operators, commercial airlines, cargo haulers, and government and military entities. Avfuel values service to customers and colleagues above all else and has grown through internal development, acquisitions, and alliances, leading to the need for new sales candidates.

Requirements

• Experience in prospecting, sales and closing new business
• Ability to perform calls to generate leads
• Ability to perform analysis to qualify opportunities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree
• Located in Fort Worth, Texas

Nice To Haves

• Prior 3-5 years outside sales experience is a plus; candidates with strong sales potential and a willingness to be mentored may be considered
• Aviation experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts for Truck Load Sales
• Identifying and developing new fuel business opportunities
• Opening additional channels of trade
• Obtaining order commitments
• Developing sales targets and forecasts
• Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
• Coordinating activities, opportunities and cross-selling with other sales departments
• Developing knowledge of individual airport markets and influencers
• Building a working knowledge of competitor products and services, customer segments and trends affecting the industry
• Territory travel is required: Expect to travel three days per week every other week (North Texas (DFW), West Texas, and New Mexico, Oklahoma)
