The Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing group business opportunities within their assigned territory for a portfolio of hotels and resorts. This role focuses on proactively identifying new business opportunities, presenting tailored proposals, and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings that drives revenue across the region, all in an effort to meet or exceed each property’s annual Group Budget. In addition, the associate is expected to strategically cross-sell sister properties within the OPAL Collection when appropriate to maximize overall portfolio performance. This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Sales and is part of a cohesive hospitality team including sales, events, revenue, and operations.
