About The Position

Champion Window - Area Sales Manager The Area Sales Manager is responsible for building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams across three to five assigned market locations. This role requires strong leadership presence and the ability to scale coaching, development, and accountability across a larger, multi-market team. While not directly responsible for personal sales production, the ASM is highly visible across markets — role modeling best practices, demonstrating sales excellence, and reinforcing a customer-first approach. Success in this role is defined by the ability to recruit and retain top talent, deliver consistent coaching and development, and build a culture of accountability, engagement, and results across multiple locations. Partnering with the RSM/RM, the ASM ensures strategy and execution align to deliver growth, exceed performance expectations, and create an exceptional in-home customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with in-home sales strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and talent development experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Factory Sales Representatives to consistently achieve and exceed sales performance goals.
  • Actively recruit, onboard, and develop new sales representatives, ensuring early and sustained success.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and field ride-alongs to model best practices and provide constructive coaching.
  • Drive a culture of self-generated lead activity, ensuring team members take ownership for creating new opportunities and are held accountable for achieving lead generation expectations.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement individualized development plans to drive improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and customer-first focus across the team.
  • Partner with the Division Manager to design and execute territory-specific sales and marketing strategies.
  • Recognize and celebrate achievements to reinforce a winning, team-oriented environment.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, customer engagement, and ethical sales practices.
