About The Position

Kerakoll is seeking a passionate B2B sales professional to join their UK Commercial team as an Area Sales Manager for North East & West England. This is a field-based, full-time, permanent role where you will represent the brand, build strong client relationships, and drive sales across your region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in growing Kerakoll's market presence while providing excellent technical support and aftersales care. The role requires at least 80% of your time to be spent in the field visiting clients. Kerakoll is a B Corp certified, purpose-driven company focused on sustainability and innovation in the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Strong B2B sales experience, ideally in the construction, coatings, or building materials industry.
  • Three to five years’ experience in the ceramic or flooring industry.
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and effectively manage a territory.
  • Commercial acumen with a solid understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivation, with the confidence to work independently and meet targets remotely.
  • Tech-savviness – confident using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking systems.
  • Must live within the specified postcodes (B B , BD, CA, CH, DH, DL, FY, HG, IM, L, LA, NE, PR, SR, TS, YO).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales growth by promoting and selling Kerakoll products, expanding the customer base, and maximizing revenue.
  • Customer relationship management through building trusted partnerships, product demonstrations, technical advice, and responsive aftersales support.
  • New business development by identifying and securing new opportunities across relevant sectors.
  • Strategic pricing by working with management to apply pricing strategies and manage discount structures.
  • Market insight by maintaining end-user databases and using CRM systems to track performance, identify trends, and manage customer interactions.
  • Hosting events by coordinating local product training sessions and client engagement events.
  • Credit management by collaborating with Credit Control to ensure timely payments and support customer account management.
  • Hosting key customer visits to Kerakoll HQ in Italy as required.
