Frank Liquor Company in Middleton, WI is now hiring an Area Sales Manager. Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, merchandising, pricing, and customer relationship management
  • Proficient computer and reporting skills; experience with eoStar or similar systems preferred
  • Understanding of beverage industry regulations, supplier standards, and market trends
  • Ability to work collaboratively, make sound decisions, and adapt to change
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required liquor sales permits

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of beverage industry sales experience preferred
  • Management or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred
  • On- or off-premise sales experience preferred based on assigned division

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales representatives to achieve sales, distribution, merchandising, and promotional goals
  • Monitor account execution including product placement, displays, pricing, promotions, shelf positioning, and customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Identify growth opportunities and secure new distribution within assigned accounts and territories
  • Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, staff trainings, and team communications
  • Support supplier initiatives, promotional programs, and brand execution plans
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to drive business results
  • Assist with merchandising, shelf resets, samplings, tastings, special events, and route coverage as needed
  • Resolve customer concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives
