About The Position

The Area Revenue Analyst will participate in weekly Commercial Strategy Meetings, utilizing various revenue systems and tools to manage revenue by segment and achieve consistent goal achievement. This role involves assisting the Director of Revenue Management (DORM) with daily system reviews, maintaining a 90-day transient pace report, preparing short-term forecasts, and executing displacement models for large programs. The analyst will also be involved in package execution, reviewing month-end reservation reports, analyzing GDS Recon tools to identify target accounts, understanding brand promotions, and monitoring hotel goals and strategies. Additionally, the position supports the RFP process, maintains basic knowledge of PMS systems for revenue reporting, provides support for monthly critiques of underperforming hotels, and assists with company meetings and conferences. A key aspect of the role is maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders and providing excellent customer service. The analyst will also assist with the Marketing Plan relating to Revenue Management Statistics, monitor action plans, ensure alignment with hotel needs and market trends, and maintain the special event calendar. Reviewing DaySTAR and STAR reports, ensuring GRC totals parity with group data, and traveling to hotel markets as needed are also responsibilities. The role includes updating internal sites, attending brand-required training, and carrying out management requests. The Area Revenue Analyst will represent Concord Hospitality professionally.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revenue Systems and Tools such as One Yield, MRDW reports, MarRFP, Marsha, MarketVision, Hotelligence, Brookfield Dashboard Reports, OnQ R&I, and Key Hotel Marketing Reports.
  • Ability to manage revenue by segment.
  • Skills in system review of daily pickup, turndowns, market pricing, inventory strategies, and demand pattern changes.
  • Daily communication skills via email and discussions.
  • Ability to maintain a weekly transient pace report extending out 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Participate via Teams in weekly Commercial Strategy Meetings utilizing Concord, Brookfield, and Brand Revenue Systems and Tools.
  • Assist DORM in a system review of daily pickup, turndowns, market pricing, inventory strategies, and demand pattern changes.
  • Maintain a weekly transient pace that extends out 90 days and is stored on the company database.
  • Prepare short-term (14- 21-day) forecasts for properties as needed.
  • Execute displacement models for large programs, i.e., 6 months or longer, to make sound decisions.
  • Package execution, including partners in the community, value offerings, and seasonal demand generation.
  • Review the month-end brand reservations reports to identify any challenges to the booking process from the respective ARSO office.
  • Review the GDS Recon tool (D360 and Agency 360) monthly to assist DORM in identifying a minimum of 10 target accounts to be worked on throughout the month in combination with other sales leaders’ goals.
  • Understand all current brand promotions to identify which ones would best fit the current hotel strategy objectives.
  • Be knowledgeable of occupancy, average rate, and RevPAR goals of each hotel, including ranking and penetration goals.
  • Assist in monitoring the various brands' RFP Process to ensure timely participation and effective account execution relative to pricing, pattern, and production.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of PMS systems and reporting for all hotels that relate to revenue reporting to ensure accurate segment tracking, package setup, and adjustment tracking.
  • Provide support with monthly critiques for all hotels not meeting Concord Hospitality revenue standards.
  • Actively participate in assisting with the organization and presentation roll-out for company meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain positive and constructive relationships with Hotel Leaders, Regional Teams, Corporate staff, and all Brand Liaisons.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer.
  • Assist with the Marketing Plan relating to Revenue Management Statistics.
  • Monitor action plans and objectives related to the hotel's defined strategy to meet quarterly financial goals.
  • Ensure that strategies are aligned with the hotel's needs and market demand trends.
  • Ensure the special event all-hotel calendar is up to date.
  • Review of DaySTAR and monthly STAR reports for analytical assessment with DORM to track the effectiveness of current sales initiatives.
  • Ensuring that the GRC totals in Delphi are in parity with group data in the CRS systems.
  • Travel to hotel markets as needed and directed by DORM.
  • Assist with updating the Concord Home – Sales page and maintain proper records on the Concord Intranet site.
  • Attend any brand-required training as well as other meetings requested by your supervisor.
  • Carry out any reasonable request by Management that you can perform and assist other Concord Departments when required.
  • Represent Concord Hospitality and any other hotels once developed, in a professional manner.
