About The Position

The Area Representative works with Directors to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission, and live the FCA Values by implementing the ministry plan for the assigned area. In FCA Sports Environments, the Representative promotes a consistent approach to discipleship: making disciples who make disciples. The Representative is accountable for ensuring that FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to FCA policies and procedures. This role includes ministerial leadership, ministry advancement, volunteer recruitment and development, donor advancement, and support for an aligned international region. The Representative is expected to carry out the role with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship, abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement, maintain a spiritual rhythm of daily prayer and Bible study, and participate weekly in a local church. The Representative is required to live in Clay County, Florida.

Responsibilities

Implement the ministry plan for the assigned area in partnership with Directors.
Ensure a consistent discipleship approach in FCA Sports Environments and ensure ministry follows biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures.
Provide spiritual leadership to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and personal example.
Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one meetings, Huddles, and Events.
Train and equip staff and volunteers to help coaches and athletes become disciples who make disciples in Sports Environments.
Recruit, train, and develop effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
Provide volunteers with tools, resources, and training to strengthen their skills, capacity, and competence.
Help volunteers grow spiritually and personally and prepare them for their roles and responsibilities.
Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to become fully funded.
Manage and steward finances for the assigned area.
Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by growing the Home Team, major donors, and events.
Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and going.
Follow a spiritual rhythm that includes daily prayer and Bible study.
Connect with and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct oneself in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs and biblical standards of conduct.
