Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and flexible under pressure
  • Willingness to travel between sites and work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, self-directed lives.
  • Follow person-centered support plans and respond compassionately to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities like meals, hygiene, and personal health tracking.
  • Administer medications safely and support appointments and community engagement.
  • Build trusting relationships with the people you support and the teams you work with.
  • Encourage meaningful participation in community outings and daily routines.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with everyone that is a part of the ALSO Community.
  • Support safe, clean, and welcoming home environments.
  • Monitor well-being and complete required documentation with care and accuracy.
  • Step into different programs and provide consistent, high-quality support where it’s needed most.
