Area Property Manager - Eastern Massachusetts General Statement of Duties: The Area Property Manager provides operational and administrative leadership to assigned communities, ensuring the financial performance, physical condition, and marketability of properties while maintaining compliance with company standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position works independently to provide coverage during acquisitions of new communities, Property Manager vacations and absences, transitions, open positions, and regional project assignments, as determined by the Regional Vice President. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of property management while on-site, such as rent collection, occupancy, resident recertifications, and adherence to budget expectations, as well as leading initiatives related to rent increases, occupancy goals, and facilities management practices. The Area Property Manager also manages and supports site-level staff to ensure day-to-day operations align with Beacon Communities' standards. This role primarily supports properties south of Boston and may provide additional support to the broader Eastern Massachusetts portfolio based on business needs. Supervision Received: Reports to the Regional Vice President. Supervision Exercised: May supervise site-level staff when staffing vacancies exist, as needed. FLSA status: Exempt
