About The Position

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead people, service quality, and client relationships within an assigned district for their valet trash services. This role requires a hands-on leader who has experience supervising hourly teams, handling scheduling issues, coaching employees, and stepping in to perform operational tasks when necessary. The position offers an opportunity for broader responsibility within a growing, founder-led company. The role combines evening field leadership with daytime recruiting, administrative tasks, and client communication, with peak operating hours between 6 p.m. and midnight. Evening and weekend availability is essential as service operates seven days a week. Regular travel between properties and markets is required to support employees, inspect service, and resolve issues. The fieldwork is physical, involving extended walking, repeated stair climbing, carrying bagged trash, and working outdoors. Daytime flexibility is dependent on completing responsibilities and meeting operational needs, with recruiting, payroll, client communication, and team support requiring attention during the day. Service or staffing issues may necessitate work beyond typical operating hours, and this role requires a full-time commitment.

  • Comfortable using mobile apps and basic computer systems for reporting, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Ability to meet the travel, schedule, and physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
  • Willingness to perform the work you ask others to do.
