About The Position

As an Area Manager at Clean Team, you'll be instrumental in upholding our reputation for quality and professionalism. This role involves managing cleaning operations, leading training sessions, ensuring quality and safety standards, and maintaining operational efficiency across multiple accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing cleaning operations or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and cleaning industry best practices.
  • At least one year of management or supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Attend the daily 4:00 PM Managers meeting to discuss staffing, budgets, quality standards, and work orders.
  • Lead comprehensive training sessions for new cleaners, site leads, and support technicians, ensuring they are well-prepared for success. Minimum of 3 days training for new hires is mandatory.
  • Treat frontline staff with care and respect to ensure strong employee retention.
  • Provide equipment promptly, hold staff accountable for their tasks, and offer constructive feedback and positive reinforcement.
  • Take ownership of cleaning quality at assigned accounts.
  • Regularly inspect work to ensure cleanliness meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Follow task schedules (SOW) for each building and address deficiencies promptly.
  • Conduct on-site safety evaluations to identify hazards, faulty equipment, and proper PPE usage.
  • Ensure safety data sheets are visible and accessible to employees and clients at all times.
  • Ensure timely and consistent service at all accounts.
  • Deliver cleaning equipment, chemicals, and consumables to buildings as needed.
  • Manage labor hours effectively to stay within allocated budgets.
  • Submit nightly reports summarizing activities, employee concerns, maintenance needs, supply levels, quality issues, and potential opportunities for additional cleaning services.
  • Compile all necessary paperwork for the 4:00 PM Managers meeting.
