About The Position

As an Area Manager at LSA Management, you will oversee multiple properties within your assigned region, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet company standards. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, maintaining high occupancy rates, and ensuring resident satisfaction. You will work closely with Community Managers to align property goals with company objectives. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Requirements

  • 3 years of proven experience in regional property management, preferably in the multifamily housing industry
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Proficient in using property management software (Yardi Voyager and RealPage preferred)
  • Knowledge of LIHTC and affordable housing regulations required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • On call and/or Saturdays based on property needs
  • Travel throughout portfolio required

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Community Managers to align property goals with company objectives.
  • Evaluate property performance, including occupancy trends, rent collections, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Implement operational best practices to enhance resident satisfaction and asset value.
  • Analyze property-level financials, control expenses, and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor budgets, forecast, and ensure alignment with ownership goals.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to optimize NOI (Net Operating Income).
  • Mentor Community Managers and on-site teams.
  • Build high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and clear goal-setting.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant laws.
