Area Manager
About The Position
Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you’ll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams. Requirements
- Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
- Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
- Communicates well & motivates others
- Has strong technical skills
- Is organized, flexible, and goal-driven
- Holds a valid cosmetology or barber license
