About The Position

Clean Team Inc. is seeking a motivated Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning operations throughout the West Michigan region. This full-time leadership opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in janitorial services, custodial management, facilities operations, or multi-site supervision. The Area Manager will be responsible for managing several client accounts, leading janitorial teams, maintaining service quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple commercial locations.

Requirements

2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, environmental services, hospitality, or related industries is a plus
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple locations in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Supervise janitorial and custodial staff across multiple facilities
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks
Ensure commercial cleaning services meet company and client standards
Train, coach, and develop employees on safety procedures and productivity expectations
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and labor management
Address employee performance issues, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed
Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication
Monitor operational performance, staffing retention, and service quality metrics
Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and company safety policies
Travel between customer locations throughout West Michigan
