Clean Team is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and dependable Area Manager to lead our local cleaning operations in Bay City and the surrounding Mid-Michigan region. In this pivotal management role, you won't just oversee buildings; you will lead people, manage customer relationships, and ensure our high standards of cleanliness and professionalism are consistently met. Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory, management, or team lead role (cleaning, retail, hospitality, or logistics experience is a huge plus).
Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with both entry-level staff and corporate clients.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated attitude to work independently in the field.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record (travel between local sites is required).
Flexibility to work evening hours, as most commercial cleaning operations take place after standard business hours.

Responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a dedicated team of commercial cleaning associates.
Conduct routine inspections of client facilities to guarantee contract compliance and exceptional quality control.
Act as the primary point of contact for local businesses, addressing requests promptly and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Manage labor hours, schedule shifts, cover open assignments when necessary, and track supply/equipment inventory across multiple sites.
Enforce company policies, chemical safety guidelines (OSHA), and secure building lock-up procedures.
