About The Position

Clean Team is seeking an Area Manager to support commercial cleaning operations across multiple customer locations in the Cleveland/Akron area. The role emphasizes team leadership, quality control, communication, and follow-through on customer and employee needs. Assignments may include more than one location within the designated service area; reporting details will be confirmed during the hiring process.

The position works the assigned 4 p.m.–12 a.m. shift. Clean Team provides job-specific instruction, established cleaning procedures, and team support. Site assignments, training, and any scheduling details requiring confirmation can be discussed during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow written instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform active work during the shift.
• Ability to work respectfully with teammates and site personnel.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned work location or locations.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading teams in commercial cleaning, facilities, or a similar service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned sites to review cleaning quality and service standards.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of team members.
• Coordinate with supervisors on coverage and scheduling needs.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Review supplies, equipment needs, and safety practices.
• Document site visits, corrective actions, and operational priorities.
• Help build a consistent, accountable, service-focused team.
