Brookside Properties is seeking a driven, hands-on Area Manager to support and oversee multiple apartment communities throughout the Nashville, TN region. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Property Manager experience required in multifamily housing.
  • Previous multisite experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, occupancy, leasing performance, and operations.
  • Ability to travel regularly between properties throughout the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Lease-up experience.
  • Experience with Entrata property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple apartment communities within the Nashville market.
  • Support and coach onsite teams to improve performance and resident satisfaction.
  • Drive occupancy, leasing, and revenue goals.
  • Monitor property financials, budgets, and operating expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and local regulations.
  • Assist with staffing, hiring, training, and employee development.
  • Conduct regular property visits and support community teams as needed.
  • Partner with Community Managers to improve property performance and resident retention.
  • Maintain high standards for curb appeal, maintenance, and customer service.
