About The Position

Sherman's is seeking an Area Manager for their Normal, IL store. This is a full-time, in-person role where you will lead and develop a high-performing Appliance Sales team focused on delivering great customer experiences. The role is hands-on, involving coaching employees, supporting customers, collaborating with other departments, and occasionally serving as Manager-on-Duty. The company emphasizes a values-based leadership style, encouraging leaders to lead with energy, ownership, and integrity, believing that accountability and support can coexist, and aiming to coach, develop, and bring out the best in people. The Area Manager will lead from the front, coach in real-time, set the energy for the building, jump in to help customers, and hold high standards while remaining approachable and supportive.
