About The Position

As part of Centacare, Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC) delivers early education and care and outside-of-school-hours care (OSHC) services across Southeast Queensland. Our purpose is to create safe, nurturing, and inclusive environments where children can thrive. This role plays a key part in strengthening the capability, confidence, and experience of the people who make that possible across a large, geographically dispersed network of services. CEEC believes that Outside School Hours Care is about creating vibrant, safe, and enriching communities where children truly thrive. This is a dynamic and influential leadership position that requires leading from the front, connecting with services, and empowering Service Leaders. Cultivating strategic relationships with key stakeholders and delivering sustainable portfolio growth are essential. This is a highly visible leadership position that demonstrates presence, influence, and resilience.

Requirements

  • Proven multi-site management experience within OSHC or Early Childhood Education.
  • Deep, practical understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and what a "Quality" or "Exceeding" service looks like.
  • Experience driving operational, financial, and service performance.
  • A Diploma in Early Education and Care (or a related field) is essential.
  • Commercial savvy: Experience managing budgets, supporting services to meet commercial benchmarks, monitoring expenditure, and increasing profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and develop leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • A resilient, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Must hold a current Queensland Working with Children Check, Blue Card.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in early education or a similar field will be highly regarded.

  • Formulate a clear, data-backed regional improvement and growth plan for your specific portfolio.
  • Identify compliance concerns immediately, provide on-the-spot guidance and direction, lift quality quickly, and ensure all services are always assessment-ready.
  • Develop exceptional leaders.
  • Drive meaningful growth.
  • Manage budgets, support services to meet commercial benchmarks, monitor expenditure, and increase profitability.
