About The Position

Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you’ll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams. We’re seeking an experienced multi-unit leader to oversee several salon locations. The ideal candidate should have prior Great Clips management experience and has successfully managed three to four salons and multiple teams. You’ll coach salon managers, strengthen performance, and help your teams thrive. For proven leaders ready to grow others and elevate the brand.

Requirements

• Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans
• Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
• Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
