The Area Manager serves as the primary link between IFS operations and PSE Contract Management, owning the unit contract relationship while driving consistency, compliance, and performance across all operating bases. This role requires maintaining in-depth knowledge of the IFS unit contract, negotiating and communicating effectively with PSE Contract Management, and advocating for IFS interests. The Area Manager will continuously review unit interpretation and application, partner with leadership to develop new units and support pricing adjustments for future contract updates. They will also partner with PSE Contract Management to ensure compliance, collaborate on updates, develop new units driven by volume changes, and support contract amendments. Additionally, the role involves identifying and addressing process issues, collaborating on improvements, reducing recurring challenges, and promoting more efficient operations. The Area Manager will review and track KPI performance, validate accuracy, follow up with operating bases, and coordinate adjustments with PSE Contract Management. They will promote alignment and consistency between IFS Superintendents and PSE Construction Management teams, collaborate with IFS Base Managers to maintain consistency across operating bases, and provide support to Base Supervisors in their absence. The role also involves supporting the IFS Damage Claims team with investigations and liability determinations, working closely with the IFS Billing Manager to ensure accurate contract unit application, and providing guidance to billing staff. The Area Manager will manage IFS Plat crews, Fuel Line crews, and MTT SMEs, and demonstrate working knowledge of Locusview to support SMEs and the Billing Department. Other duties as needed.
