The Area Manager, Sales Support serves as a critical link between factory operations and frontline sales for mining and rotary drilling products and equipment, providing strategic and hands-on support to ensure successful execution of business development plans and customer commitments. This role involves developing business development plans, collaborating with internal stakeholders, staying attuned to customer needs, coordinating operational reviews, and driving profitability for sales cases. The position is also responsible for tender quotations, sales administration, and supporting global and regional contract agreements. Additionally, the Area Manager supports the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by consolidating forecasts and managing production schedules, acting as a liaison between sales and factory production, and coaching frontline sales on product knowledge and customer applications. Ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety standards is also a key aspect of the role.
