About The Position

This position is responsible for implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety. They will monitor and manage the productivity of their area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. This role maintains quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures. They will identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns. The Area Manager will supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs. They will manage the execution of QA guidelines, procedures, and programs, identifying ways to increase building efficiency and maintain inventory integrity. This role also manages systems hardware and software maintenance and installation, overseeing repairs and tracking inventory. Additionally, they will troubleshoot systems applications by working with the Information Systems Division (ISD) and vendors, supporting the development of current and future systems applications. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Logistics or related field OR 2 years Walmart logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience.
