About The Position
The Area Manager-Immunology is responsible for the promotion of CSL products and managing business development/distributors to achieve sales targets within the Albuquerque Territory, which covers parts of Phoenix, Tucson, all of New Mexico, and El Paso, TX. This role involves promoting products to specific call points to meet territory sales targets, developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and external clients, and establishing high-level scientific relationships with key opinion leaders. The Area Manager will also facilitate the development of new accounts, support growth in existing accounts, and provide input to the marketing strategy. Additionally, they will support education programs by giving presentations at scientific congresses, conferences, and patient organization meetings, ensuring all customer contact and promotional activities comply with company policy and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
Responsibilities
- Responsible for promotion of CSL products and managing business development/distributors to achieve sales targets
- Promotes products to select call points to achieve territory sales targets, consistent with regional/corporate direction
- Develops and maintains relationships with key accounts and external clients to increase awareness of product offerings; establishes and maintains high level scientific relationships with KOL key opinion leaders
- Facilitates development of new accounts while supporting growth of existing accounts
- Supports education programs, providing presentations at scientific congresses, conferences and patient organization meetings
- Provides input to the marketing strategy
- Ensures customer contact and promotional activities comply with company policy and standard operating procedures
