About The Position

MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking a passionate and driven Evening Bilingual Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day field operations of assigned accounts in the commercial cleaning sector. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards, processes, and protocols, ensuring adherence to MasterCorp Commercial Services’ (MCS) values and standards. The Area Manager will be responsible for maintaining staffing levels, identifying training needs, coaching associates, and ensuring all operational tasks are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in field related to position or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Two (2) years of progressive management responsibility in commercial cleaning operations.
  • Proven experience in methods used in the cleaning of commercial properties.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and supervise large numbers of associates.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules and regulations.
  • Proven ability to make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Email, Word, Excel.
  • Average of 25% travel on a monthly basis throughout market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain staffing levels at each site to ensure work is completed timely with quality and according to labor budget.
  • Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training occurs as needed.
  • Evaluate and coach associates for success. If necessary, perform documented counseling with associates.
  • Follow proper procedures for reporting work-related injuries or incidents.
  • Train associates on technical and administrative duties.
  • Respond to and ensure completion of work requests, building inspection notes, client requests, etc.
  • Coordinate job scheduling and work assignments, set priorities as needed, and supervise the work of direct reports at existing accounts and new accounts.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
  • Consistently visit client sites in order to ensure work is completed according to client contracts and MCS standards.
  • Control costs related to operations to include but not limited to; labor, supplies, equipment, cell phones, etc.
  • Maintain inventories of equipment and supplies, consumables and places orders for assigned accounts within budget.
