About The Position

Oversee Facility Maintenance and Make a Difference We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Area Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! This role involves overseeing maintenance operations for long-term care facilities, primarily in the El Paso area. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with attendance are essential, as is the ability to multitask, work collaboratively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2-5 years of experience in a long-term care maintenance role
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Genuine care and interest in elderly and disabled individuals
Compliance with the Patient Bill of Rights, Employee Responsibilities, and safety policies
Experience with heating and air conditioning, boiler and water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency power generators
Understanding of principles of preventive maintenance
Practices safe defensive driving skills and qualifies for company insurance

Nice To Haves

College degree is desired
HVAC experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance staff, schedules, and functions across multiple facilities.
Ensure the physical plant and equipment are safe and functioning efficiently.
Establish, implement, and audit preventive maintenance programs.
Oversee outside contractors for necessary repairs and projects.
Conduct and document inspections of fire control systems and coordinate monthly fire drills.
Participate in new hire orientation to promote safety, disaster policy, and overall awareness.
Work within repair, maintenance, and project budgets.
Order and maintain supplies and equipment, and repair tools as necessary.
